Even on souped up high-performance Sleds, our Yamaha Apex GT EFI Fuel Management Chip efficiently makes notable power-gain on your machine. Blow away the lagging factory EFI programming with our HP Tune. Yamaha Apex GT EFI Smart-Tune Fuel Programmer undoubtebly is intended to successfully Bump Up the Horsepower of your confined factory power plant. Let your Yamaha Apex GT EFI’s motor run at its best Power Output when you need to deploy full HP potential. This Yamaha Apex GT EFI ECU tuner will fool engine sensors’ signals processed by the Electronic Engine Management, committing a horsepower-optimized adjustment to the fuel settings which is what causes the Horsepower Potential increase to maximize the speeding up and throttle sensitivity throughout the entire rev range. The Fuel Management Chip also taps into the air fuel sensor’s harness to overwrite the barriers imposed by the Electronic Control Module and that would hold back the fuel trim remap from going through. This Sled Magnum Remapper Chip wires inline with the hot signal wire of the Inlet Air Temp sensor sensor (IAT or MAT) that can be a standalone sensor or the part of the integrated 4-wire (up to 6) Mass Air Flow Sensor also referred to as (MAF, TMAP, etc.) unit. It can then be programmed to control a pressure type waste gate which opens a whole new world of possibilities for tuning and is required if you want to run a bigger turbo.Backed by an efficient European manufactory producing exclusively for Magnum Tuning, It has a revised launch control strategy, a raised rev limit. Fully programmable race ECU with maps to suit the turbo.Motorsport specification thrust bearing assembly.Compressor housing machined to suit larger wheels. ![]() ![]() Also requires lead CANDB9 - sold separately.įollowed by: - Note the upgraded turbo and tune required to get the higher amount: ![]() This is a plug and play component and it has none of the boost pressure limits of the standard Alfa ECU. It can then be programmed to control a pressure type waste gate which opens a whole new world of possibilities for tuning and is required if you want to run a bigger turbo. The ECU is fully programmable and can cope with any state of tune. STAGE 2 tune, This is a bespoke ECU for the 4C, It comes with a tune for the standard engine which gives 300 bhp, 20 bhp up on our cloned ECU which is already the fastest tune over a 1/4 of a mile on the Alfa 4C forum. What is so odd is the very tuners of the ECU only claim 300hp for the race tune, suggesting to get more like 325hp a hybrid turbo is required. I have nothing bad to say about it.īut the dynomometer printouts and the numbers on them are useful only for bragging rights at cars & coffee (and also if you run out of toilet paper - is that why they call it "butt dyno"? ). And as long as you are satisfied with the result (which you seem to be), it has done its job. I have no doubt that the tune has made this car faster and probably considerably more responsive. ![]() But I would bet that were the stock car run on that same dyno in identical conditions, it would probably test north of 300 HP (which we know is rubbish). Mustang dynos don't have a great reputation for accuracy, either. They are great for testing comparisons of before and after on the same car while tuning (if set up right with proper airflow to intake and cooling, sufficient hot air exhaust from the room to replicate travel at speed, etc.). We've had this many times in the past, and absolute numbers on any chassis dyno are not really that useful for comparison with figures off of any other device or against manufacturer's published stats.
